The Chatham Chamber Merchant's Association is thrilled to announce the much-anticipated Oktoberfest celebration in downtown Chatham, set to take place on October 19, 2024 at Kate Gould Park and the Town Hall Parking lot.
This lively event promises a day of festive fun, live music, beer, and family-friendly activities in the heart of Chatham. This event is free however, a suggest donation would be appreciated. Below is the schedule:
The Chatham Orpheum will be kicking things with a showing “Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Where-Rabbit” for kids at 9 am. This event is FREE. For more info, visit www.chathamorpheum.org. Free tickets are available at the box office. Kids are invited to attend the movie in costume and then head to Kate Gould Park at 11 a.m. for a Kid’s Costume Parade.
The festival open at 10:30 a.m. The beer tent opens at 11:30 a.m. Attendees of all ages are invited to immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of Oktoberfest. Highlights of the event include:
- Live Music: Enjoy performances from local and national acts including: Forest Station, Uncle Jake & the 18 Wheel Gang, Nikki and The Barn Boys, The Chatham Band, SoulJah, Jacob Green with White Wolf and Brad Steber.
- Beverages: New England craft beer, cider and malt seltzer provided by the Pour Garden.
- Kid's Zone: There will be a kids movie feature at the Chatham Orpheum at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Dress your kids in their costumes for the movie and then head down to Kate Gould Park for a parade at 11 a.m. (must have tickets to enter). After enjoy the Kids Zone, Kids Zone, with crafts and games throughout the day, hosted by Pamela Schickler.
- Vendor Village: Browse through a diverse array of vendors offering unique products and crafts including: Cape Shark, Atlantic Soap Co, Lighthouse Keepers Pantry, Katy Taylor Jewelry, Cinder and Salt.
- Food Trucks & Tents: Enjoy food from Mom & Pops, Junior Betts BBQ, Chatham Harvesters, Captain’s Table, Shine Mobile Coffee, Chatham Ice Cream Bars, Elwoods Raw Bar, Herbivore Patisserie, The Orpheum and Good Times Ice Cream Truck.

PARKING:There is free parking in town on the street, in all town lots south of Main St (including Oyster Pond), at the Community Center, Chatham Elementary School & Monomoy Middle School. We will provide a free shuttle from the two school lots. There is also paid parking at the Eldredge Lot on Main St and Chatham Valet will likely be providing shuttle services included with the parking fee.
